Excellence in Crafts
This award category features the work of the talented teams who create, build, manufacture, or craft an element of costume for a production. Their technical skills and artistry are key in transitioning a costume from concept to performance attire. This can include leather work, armoury, breakdown artistry, textile painting or dyeing, accessory building, cutting, sewing, tailoring, illustration, and non-traditional methods such as sculpting, moulding, and casting. The following awards recognize excellence in craft within different media categories. Each nominee in this category is a master in their field with the ability to balance fit, function, comfort, and utility along with exceptional creative execution of design details.
